Here is a script for scripters. Dealing with communication between objects is probably one of the more difficult things to learn when its about scripting. Especially when you want to do this properly as this requires validation (by using encryption) and proper handling of listeners and channels. Having been scripting for over 10 years with more then 200 scripted products in my store i have over time perfected the perfect communication technique and scripts. You will get 2 scripts. A no-mod script that handles the whole communication and a full-perm example script. Communicating with a HUD is as simple as sending a linked message. The communication is secured by a salted encrypted token. The data itself is not encrypted. When you send something to someone in SL that is offline you never know if they will get it. If they are capped your item will just get discarded and they wont even know that you send them something. The solution for this problem is the Send when Online (https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Send-when-Online/21226076). But sometimes you need to send a item to many avatars. Of course you could use the Send when Online but depending on how many avatars you need to send to or even if it is something you do on a regular bases it can become quite tedious. Just add the names of your contacts (for example a list of Bloggers, employees, etc) to the contacts notecard add your item (notecard, object, landmark, etc) and hit send. The ultimate vendor system for your blogger room. Let your bloggers easily get items to blog about and let them submit there posts. Bloggers can get between 1 and 10 items only. You set the limit. When they reach there item limit you or a manager need to approve a submitted post before they can take more items. You can also manually remove the items using the blue dialog menu on the server. You and your managers (when enabled) receive notifications (in-world and/or email) of submitted posts and if posts where approved or declined. The blogger will also receive a notification if there blog post was approved or declined. Almost everything is done from the Store Blogger Room server.
